As much as I love the sentimental friendliness plot to the story,
the dark side of Undertale definitely has it's perks~ Don't get me wrong but I love me a good horror thrill in games that puts you on edge. ( especially in RPG ). 
Yet there's something about the eeriness that has such a uniquely formulated type of horror that really tugs at your heart strings. ( hehe. he heHEHH ^^^)
 I've taken an interest in Chara too ( spoilers ) The structure in their character is so ingeniously disturbing I lOVE!!

I'd have a swing at no mercy route myself but I c a  n  t. . .  So I succumbed to playthroughs on youtube welly welP.

Hope the lighting and filters isn't too blinding in this..
